The new product of coil steel 2Cr16 is successful completed in September, which is use for medical device supplied for Shanghai Special Steel Company, and its quality has fully recognized by customers.

　　The 2Cr16 coil is processed by cold upsetting, requirements of hardness, corrosion property and so on are extremely strict. Its corrosion resistance is better than 2Cr13 steel, and the mechanical property is equivalent to 2Cr13 after quenching,  and it can replace the steel 2Cr13 when the corrosion resistance is stricter.
